We had a suspicion about this but after taking the time to isolate this frame by frame (also added another with traced over letters) and compare it to her general handwriting, it + matches + up + perfectly. 

Then again, she’s played pretend before (pretending to be Kurt when scaring away Mary Lou Lord for example) hasn’t she? This should be of no surprise.

Courtney wants people to believe that people seemingly hate her for no reason or because of some petty teenage jealousy of having access to Kurt. Why? Because if she keeps telling people (ie - ‘She’s Not Even Pretty’) that people hate her for those reasons or for no reason at all, you’d start believing it wouldn’t you? 

Just send yourself a fake hate letter and simultaneously let your husband push his abuse down by thinking you’re a victim and make the world believe it because everyone loves a good story.
