the media black out launched for soaked in bleach

Soaked In Bleach is due for a release date in the next few months and with the film sort of ominously gathering steam on the horizon, as it has for the past year, Courtney’s taken preemptive measures. Ever calculative, ever scrambling, ever self preserving, as she’s proven with going as far to faking a pregnancy and a mythical blend of abortion and miscarriage to trap men into relationships and marriages, Montage of Heck can be summarized as Courtney Love’s fail safe. Even though the project had been launched years ago, everything from the marketing to the overall film itself have it’s own agenda. Hours and hours of collected footage cautiously picked through and arranged in a way to give Frances the impression that her family was lovingly destructive, the film has lead many to believe that this is the ‘hidden gem’ that the public has been waiting for. Countless publications - RollingStone, VanityFair, TheDailyBeast, and a series of large to smaller media affiliates believe that this is their answer for whether or not Kurt’s and Frances’s shared experiences were shaped by a monster. The Hollywood version of Susan Smith - a woman who killed her children to make a guy like her that rejected her and fabricated a web of lies to prevent anyone from finding out she did it. Even though her lawyers tried to reason that her sexual abuse had lead to insanity, the overriding factor, as evident in basic human nature for many, is that she was simply a selfish person. Monsters are not always made.

And humans can be monsters. The parallel? Both women have been given the same excuses to humanize their behavior. Focus on the word humanize for a second.

I.e - The underlying motivation behind Montage of Heck.

The other cruel truth, rather bluntly, is that Brett Morgen is an idiot. A laughable, air headed idiot, whilst willingly letting himself be controlled by Courtney because he wanted to advance his career in film making. The film is a joke, poorly made, and the motivations and seams of it so to speak are all hilariously evident in it’s content and marketing campaigns.

And the cost? Not only further emotionally gas-lighting Frances’s question of trust in her 'bio’ mother further, they’re, once again, using Kurt Cobain as a kickstand for their happy lets-pick-off-a-dead-man-for-cash fantasies. Because if 20 years of creating campfire tales for gossip rags about Kurt weren’t enough, we’ve got Courtney's Heavier Than Heaven white wash strategy tailor made for millennials. Where 15-25 year olds in the early 2000’s believed that Kurt joyously murdered a cat and nearly raped a girl in HTH - all lies oddly ok’d by his “wife,” you all are going to believe that he was, in fact, an unappreciative father and spouse, who sought suicide rather than letting Courtney 'fix’ him. You’re going to see that footage of him nodding off from a drug dosage in the midst of Courtney cutting Frances’s hair as she’s yelling at him to think of their child - as a troubled relationship opposed to an abusive one.

Brett Morgen’s been contradicting himself in interviews lately. Contradicting himself in a major way that - to his detriment - validates that Courtney’s been talking to him. Despite having a lucky '7’ years worth of time to comb through footage, he neglects to realize how oddly convenient it is that so many of Kurt’s heroin binges and problematic familial episodes - are all being caught on film. You know, even though, Lynn Hirschberg’s article had ruined them publicly and child services came to sweep up their baby girl, all of their issues within their marriage that would arouse court suspicion are kept in storage for over 20 years - and being made into a film.

You know, even though Courtney fabricated an entire lie about scaring Hirschberg under Madonna’s table, wrote released a bootleg called, “Bring Me The Head of Lynn Hirschberg,” (Also see: Lynn’s hi-la-ri-ous response), and then going on record to say that she was was mostly responsible for Kurt’s death fifteen years later on top of that. She basically planned the whole thing, and, it’s extremely easy to do. All you need to do is set an objective, imagine potential escape routes, and set them up. It doesn’t take a mastermind, sociopath, or a burning 'witch’ fantasy.

It takes someone who’s great at imagining a | variety | of scenarios

And scenarios are cake. When my mother told me last year that I should consider a career in journalism, she told me something along the lines of 'great imagery’ comes with 'a great mind for creative organization,' and it sort of, in an oddly convenient way helped me through a rough patch of not knowing what I wanted to do after college. After that I decided to pursue it whilst thinking that this is probably what people think when lying to the press.

.

That entire anecdote was fabricated. See? Very simple. Snuck in right through your defenses dinnit’? Felt like you had a personable moment with me dinnit’? Get the connection? If you don’t, that’s basically her approach - constantly. It doesn’t take a genius. If anything, it takes a very, self preserving sort of person. Someone who constantly worries and imagines different outcomes. The sort of person who prepares for the worst. Methodical, observant.

I.e - Anyone really .

Courtney Love is not an evil mastermind. Courtney is, like many people are, capable of multiple ways to cover their ass. Not just multiple, but 6th dimensional. If all you do is lie and run, lie and run, then you’ve packed your bags ahead of time when you aren’t leaving a year. Imagine that, but 20 years in advance. To us, non celebrity folk, we call this preparing for our futures. Some of us may even call it 'the law of attraction’ where you plan out what type of house you want by the time you retire. It’s picking a career that lands you financial security you can walk to the bank with in tw-en-ty-ye-ars. And some people, because human beings are capable of taking something very rudimentary, and distort it, and flat out make it satanic.

Meaning, Courtney is like many of us. She just decided to do a very, very bad thing. One, several, 20, 50, 900 at only 50 years old. We have to call her actions 'bad things’ because despite trying to drive Kurt to suicide, hitting | her | daughter, and beating up random women, since she’s prone to being seen as a victim as a woman, actions like those are defined as 'bad things' simplistically. Not horrible, horrendous, or satanic, demonic even, but 'bad.' Like, baby did a bad thing.

Now that the psychology’s out of the way, because people are often extremely confused by that, we can focus on what you came here for.

montage of heck
media | deconstruction

So Brett Morgen’s been running with his tale between his legs making up shit. Changing his story, changing his tune, and has been doing it since publications like NME and RollingStone first dove at the opportunity to cover 'gossip’ about Montage of Heck. The original winter buzz around Montage of Heck was that Courtney wasn’t involved in it. Except it became rather exaggerated and sensationalized to almost kind of sort of but actually very much prove a point. Now by December 5th, the story changed to, “Well she is involved and she was never pushed out from the film." Brett went to The Hollywood Reporter to feed the first wave of coverage about MOH. Nothing in those released statements specified that she was implied to actually have editorial control but things were lost in translation. After the media had a frenzy reporting that she’d been 'frozen out’ and 'banned’ from the film and the first [ hook ] was that the movie would be good because she was gone, he released a counter statement to RollingStone changing his gears within the same day that THR’s article went public.

Even though Brett had specifically went to The Hollywood Reporter himself and gave them permission to print that she had no editorial control, and this had been the original source for the MOH’s buzz in December to begin with, he suddenly went back and said that the 'claim’ by THR had no basis and she actually did have involvement, but didn’t ask for control. He even used the same wording. It had just been altered to say, "Well she didn’t ASK, I mean, well, you know..I mean, well. She just gave me ACCESS.” The bits about Frances and co thinking it best for her to not have involvement were also conveniently left out of his counter statement to RollingStone.

Two different stories. Same day on December 3rd. By the 5th, over 50 different publications had to alter their reports. That’s why the reporting on MOH during that period in time looks very much like this. So even though the statements came from his own mouth and were printed in December 12’s publication of THR, he tried to deny, in a very Courtney like fashion mind you, that he hadn’t said that at all. He sought them out, gave them the first official statement to create hype for the film and then ran backwards. Tale in hand. He screwed up. But of course, no one thinks that we’re going to notice.

Courtney has also been attempting to push for a film, administering full control, over the past several years. Even though the idea of a Kurt bio pic was brought up in the late 90s by Courtney, it came into full fruition in 2007 when Courtney clung to the story, roped Charles Cross into lying about it and planting additional stories in the press, and kept press baiting with it over the next several years. The documentary was never mentioned until July 2014 for Inquirer Entertainment. In this interview she also says that she’s in control of both films. There’s no implication that she was left out or that she wasn’t interested in having more say in the film than was necessary. The content shows just the opposite and also contradicts Brett Morgen’s initial statements via The Hollywood Reporter. It all comes full circle. “Is she or ISN’T she involved?"

She is, was, and always has been. Stories were planted since 2007 about a bio pic and she kept changing her story around. Then Brett changes his story that she didn’t seek involvement with it even though she said herself that she was, and was confirmed by Brett in a reactive statement released to RollingStone. She has also generally planted stories, again, so this should come as no surprise.

Montage of Heck’s marketing has also revealed that Brett, again, can’t keep his story straight. The only problem is that this time, it’s at the expense of white washing Kurt Cobain’s motivations for ultimately killing himself. He and Courtney seem to be doing this a lot lately. We assumed they had proper media training. Brett told Vanity Fair that Kurt’s guilt over losing custody of Frances due to his drug use, inflamed by Lynn Hirschberg, ultimately lead to his suicide, taking the tone of what Courtney has been saying about Hirschberg since 1994. Then he told TheDailyBeast that it was actually, solely, because he felt betrayed by Courtney for cheating on him and he overall felt suffocated by his loyalty to a dying marriage, muddled with his responsibilities to raise a child, but mostly because of Courtney. Told two different publications, again, gee, two different things on the same-damn-day.

The selling point of Montage of Heck has changed from being an in depth exploration of Kurt to being about his relationship with Courtney. It isn’t a tack on. It isn’t a trivia based point of interest. That is the general tone of the film and it’s what Brett Morgen and Courtney Love have been focusing on in interviews. What’s meant to sell MOH is whether or not the relationship was abusive. It’s supposed to 'silence’ the oncoming storm of Kurt and Courtney 2.0. This is the preemptive strike. Nip it in the bud before it starts, and it-isn’t-working. Not only has Brett been going to different publications changing his story more than once, but Courtney let slip that she actually did, in fact, do heroin while pregnant. Which is what we’ve been saying for the past month. Even though it was obvious that she was lying and the media just happened to buy Courtney’s claims, when you stack all of her stories up against each other, you need no more explanation. This is also, in addition to the fact, that she, again, has been abusing Frances for the past decade. We just now have full media realization that the abuse started when Frances was in her womb.

Then again, the woman hit her and then lied about it and accused Frances of hitting her instead and had no problem going to multiple publications and reciting that counteractive story. So what’s her strategy for Soaked In Bleach? Her strategy, as proven, is to white wash her image using older footage painting Kurt as the destructive force in their relationship in order to, once again, paint herself as a martyr. She had been planning to use this in advance as well in order to ultimately win everything upon their divorce through Tom Grant, as also unexpectedly confirmed by Eric Erlandson and echoed from Kurt’s friends and those in close proximity at the time.

And it isn’t working, and ironically in a display of perfect poetic justice, sets her up for failure for the coming of Soaked In Bleach.
